Hello, I just recently repaired my iPodTouch 4! The only question I have before I glue it back together is: Though I don’t see it in your video, when I open my iPod, there is? a metal piece at the top right of the iPod, just beneath the LCD. In other videos, people take this metal piece out, put it to the side, but don’t replace it. Is it a necessary part to replace? I am thinking it’s use is for the adhesive and nothing else…any thoughts?

You know, if they made it where the digitizer cable was on the top? of the board, you could skip like 10 dangerous steps. What a piece of shit.
